BOB FRIEDMAN
President, Cornerstone Benefits Group
Bob Friedman, an Aflac representative since 1994, serves more than 200 businesses, schools and organizations of all sizes in the Lehigh Valley, New Jersey and Delaware. Bob has received numerous awards and recognition from Aflac, a Fortune 500 company that specializes in voluntary employee benefits and supplemental insurance. Bob is a member of the President’s Club, reserved for the top 75 representatives in the country, an honor he qualified for three times. He also is a member of the Gold Key Club, honoring Aflac representatives who are the top 10 percent producers, and is regularly tapped by Aflac to serve on state and regional committees.
An active member of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce where he serves on the Board of Governors, Bob was recognized as the Chamber’s Volunteer of the Year in 2007. He is a member of the Small Business Council board of directors and chairs the Marketing and MasterMinds committees. In addition, Bob is the chairperson of the Ambassadors Committee.
In 2008, The Morning Call honored Bob with the Silver Bowl Award for outstanding advocacy and service to the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley. An experienced motivational speaker, Bob shares his insights on a variety of topics including networking, building relationships, overcoming disabilities and how to succeed in business. He is a long-time member of St. Thomas More Church in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he has served as an advocate for people with disabilities, a Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) moderator/mentor, and a Eucharistic Minister.
Bob and his wife, Maureen, reside in Wescosville. They have two grown children.
